Job summary

STO Building Group is seeking an MEP Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and profitability of data center construction projects. You will drive schedules, budgets, and risk management while coordinating with subs, vendors, and internal teams to ensure high-quality results and timely completion.

The role requires a civil/ construction management background, several years of PM experience in data centers, and strong negotiation and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field.
• Minimum of four or more years project management experience within Data Center Construction.
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• Knowledge of construction processes and estimating concepts.
• Reading plans, blueprints, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the preparation of estimates for the project.
• Prepares project budgets and unit cost reports.
• Leads the project team in preparing the project management plan (PMP).
• Participates in value engineering services as appropriate.
• Organizes and conducts pre-award and pre-construction meetings.
• Negotiates and prepares project subcontracts.
• Monitors cost, safety, quality and schedule performance.
• Develops and monitors project quality, safety, and risk management plans.
• Coordinates final close out procedures and as-built documentation.
