Job summary

Mussett, Nicholas and Associates, Inc. is seeking an MEP BIM/CAD Technician to assist mechanical, electrical, and plumbing teams in creating detailed drawings and models. You will produce sketches, layouts, and specifications from rough ideas and client data, using BIM and CAD tools.

The role requires strong collaboration, the ability to learn new technologies, and the discipline to follow standards. Prior BIM/CAD experience, especially with AutoCAD and Revit, is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate's degree or equivalent in architecture, design, or drafting.
• Experience with BIM and/or CAD software is essential.
• AutoCAD and Revit experience preferred.
• Familiarity with architectural environments and structural drafting.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drawings and models using BIM/CAD.
• Translate sketches and design information into accurate drawings.
• Ensure drawings follow established standards.
• Support BIM needs across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing projects.
• Learn applicable rules and client standards; adapt to new tech.
• Assist with additional duties as assigned.
