Job summary

ERDMAN is seeking a BIM/CAD Revit Technician MEP to produce construction documents for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. The role focuses on a discipline while serving as a resource across the Engineering Department.

Responsibilities include updating Revit templates, building Revit families, coordinating with project teams to meet milestones, and assisting with BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud setup.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or technical degree is required.
• 1-3 years BIM/engineering design experience.
• Proficient in MS Office, Revit MEP, and AutoCAD.
• Ability to visualize architectural and MEP elements for proper detailing & coordination.
• Understanding of drawing and modeling organization, detail, and precision.
• Demonstrated knowledge of or interest in MEP systems and their installation.

Responsibilities

• Produce construction documents for mechanical, electrical & plumbing systems.
• Update and maintain Revit templates.
• Build and manage Revit families for projects.
• Meet project milestones by collaborating with team members integrating MEP with architecture and other engineering systems.
• Assist in managing content organization and accessibility in AVAIL.
• Assist in new project setup for BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Coordinate work sharing within the team and collaborate with other disciplines.
• Ensure outputs are professional and meet project specifications.
