Job summary

HITT Contracting is seeking an MEP Assistant Superintendent in Seattle to advance a career in technical MEP construction and management. You will work closely with the project MEP Superintendent conducting field inspections, progress updates, and supporting equipment startup and commissioning.

Responsibilities include safety adherence, documentation, meetings, scheduling, and coordinating with the site team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; a four-year degree in construction, engineering, or business is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and lead a team; problem-solving aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field inspections and progress updates with project MEP team.
• Maintain safety standards and assist with document control.
• Coordinate with MEP manager, suppliers, and commissioning activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist in developing schedules, track critical path, and support startup and pretesting of systems.
