The University of Maine seeks a MEOC Advisor based in Aroostook County to recruit and enroll MEOC participants, providing academic, career, and educational advising throughout the enrollment process.

This role involves in-person and virtual services, with frequent travel between Houlton, Millinocket, Presque Isle and Fort Kent. Salary ranges from $42,000 to $47,000 depending on experience.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in counseling, education, social work, or related field.
• Two years experience with disadvantaged youth or adults, schools, or community agencies.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with multiple projects and deadlines.
• Travel is required within the project service area and a valid driver's license is needed.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct recruitment activities in Aroostook County to enroll MEOC participants.
• Provide academic, career, educational advising and support through graduation and enrollment.
• Deliver services in-person and virtually to individuals and groups.
• Travel regularly between Houlton, Millinocket, Presque Isle and Fort Kent.
• Collaborate with MEOC partners and programs for participant services.
