Job summary

The Coordinator of Recruitment and Community Engagement leads the University of Maine Honors College's efforts to recruit and enroll an academically talented and engaged student body. This role plays a critical part in student success by creating a seamless continuum from prospective engagement to active participation in the Honors community.

The position offers a typical hiring range of $45,500 to $48,000 commensurate with qualifications and experience, with site-based work in Orono, Maine.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• One year of related experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present effectively to a variety of audiences.
• Interest in fostering student growth and development.
• Proficiency with technology platforms such as Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, etc.
• At least two years’ related experience (preferred).
• Experience with college admissions and/or recruitment (preferred).
• Experience designing, leading and managing events (preferred).
• Ability to manage, analyze, and interpret data and data sets (preferred).
• Experience designing materials for online and print media (preferred).
