American University is seeking a Program Manager for Mentoring Programs to lead the university-wide alumni mentoring initiative. The role drives strategy, oversees operations across campuses, and partners with Advancement, Academic Units, and Employer Engagement to create a scalable mentoring ecosystem that supports student success and alumni engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; 4–6 years of relevant experience.
• Master's degree preferred; 5–8 years of relevant experience.

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic direction and long-term planning for the alumni mentoring program.
• Design scalable mentoring models, participation structures, policies, and workflows.
• Oversee mentoring program operations: mentor recruitment, onboarding, matching, engagement models, and compliance.
• Supervise the Program Coordinator and graduate assistants; coach and develop staff.
• Develop program metrics and dashboards; prepare reports for senior leadership.
