Job summary

The Aide – ISO position in Utah supports the student mentoring program by assisting with activities, providing information to participants, and helping maintain services within established guidelines.

This role reports to Assigned Supervisor and involves coordinating mentoring activities, preparing materials, promoting the program locally, and maintaining records to ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a job-related area is required.
• Job-related experience is desirable.
• Experience with mentoring or educational programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess skills and needs of volunteers and students to ensure appropriate mentoring coverage.
• Assist in management and implementation of the mentor program.
• Maintain files and records for up-to-date reference and compliance.
• Orient volunteers to the mentor program including responsibilities, schedules, and policies.
• Prepare written materials documenting activities and conveying information.
• Coordinate mentoring applications and eligibility determinations.
• Promote the mentoring program in the local community to recruit volunteers.
