Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in education, social work, or counseling beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Mentor at-risk students and build trust-based relationships to support academic and social-emotional growth.
• Support MTSS Tier 2 and Tier 3 students with monitoring, mentoring and progress tracking.
• Build relationships with students and families; coordinate attendance, engagement and behavior indicators.
• Provide guidance and advocacy to help students meet academic and graduation requirements.
• Assist in academic planning, goal setting, and study skills development; aid transition back to Tier 1 as appropriate.
• Maintain professional communication with students, families, staff and community partners.
