Job summary

South Platte Renew invites applications for the SPR/Utilities Operations Apprentice, a year-long program combining hands-on training at SPR and the Allen Water Treatment Plant. Apprentices rotate 6 months at SPR and 6 months at Utilities, reporting to the Operations Supervisor and learning under licensed operators.

You will follow the training calendar to meet learning objectives, with duties flexible as needed. A full pre-employment process applies including background checks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: concurrent enrollment in or completion of a water quality program at a local community college or trade school.

Responsibilities

• Apprentices will learn under licensed operators and track progress in the training calendar.
• Perform duties as assigned and required while completing the year-long program.
• Spend 6 months at SPR and 6 months at Utilities under supervision.
