Job summary

Tenet3 is seeking an Intern Solutions Engineer to gain hands-on experience in MBSE, Python scripting, and digital modeling. You’ll collaborate with a cross-disciplinary team to support system models, documentation, and integration workflows for aerospace and defense projects.

This internship offers mentorship, exposure to industry tools, and a window into real-world digital engineering challenges, with opportunities to apply classroom concepts to impactful, measurable work.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s program in Systems Engineering, CS, Electrical Engineering, Applied Math, or related STEM.
• GPA of 3.5 or higher.
• Basic familiarity with Python (courses, projects, or research).
• Interest in MBSE tools such as MagicDraw/Cameo or Enterprise Architect.
• Clear written and verbal communication; able to collaborate across teams.
• Self-driven, curious, and eager to learn digital engineering workflows.

Responsibilities

• Assist with system modeling using MBSE tools and templates.
• Draft and maintain internal diagrams and documentation.
• Learn and apply Python to automate basic modeling or data tasks.
• Participate in team standups and receive mentorship from senior engineers.
• Version control & traceability: understand GitLab usage for models and data.
