Shriners Children’s Chicago seeks a Mentored Scientist to join the Shriners Clinical Research team. This is a full-time, grant-funded position designed for developing independent research in pediatric orthopedic care.
You will help design experiments, develop protocols, and supervise surgical residents and laboratory staff while pursuing third-party funding opportunities and presenting data for publication. The role emphasizes collaboration and rigorous science.

Shriners Children’s Chicago is seeking a full time Mentored Scientist to join the Shriners Clinical Research team! Shriners Children’s Chicago offers specialized care for a wide range of pediatric orthopedic, bone and joint conditions, including rare diseases and syndromes. Other specialties include spine and scoliosis care, plastic surgery, cleft lip and palate care, comprehensive rehabilitation and spinal cord injuries. This is a three year grant funded position.
The pay range for this position is $84,676 - $127,004. Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
