Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with drafting technology coursework.
• Approximately 1+ year of CAD/drafting experience preferred; strong entry-level candidates may be considered.
• Working knowledge of at least one CAD platform; AutoCAD and/or MicroStation experience preferred.
• Exposure to 3D drafting/modeling and multiple CAD platforms is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise civil and structural drawings for utility substation projects.
• Develop basic drawings from sketches, instructions, and verbal direction.
• Support structural layouts and details for substation infrastructure.
• Coordinate drawings with electrical and other engineering disciplines.
• Follow CAD standards, procedures, and drafting practices.
