American Structurepoint, Inc. in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a CAD Technician to create coordinated 2D drawings and support model-based documentation for utility projects, ensuring standards, content quality, and workflow efficiency.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and able to translate markups and design intent into production drawings while maintaining organized drawing sets and supporting project documentation workflows.

Qualifications

Degree or certificate in Drafting, CAD, Civil/Architecture, or related discipline.
INDOT experience preferred.
At least 2 years of relative experience.
Experience with Microstation/Geopak preferred.
Proficiency with AutoCAD; familiarity with Revit/GIS is a plus.
Strong prioritization skills in multi-project environments.

Responsabilités

Prepare clear, well-annotated utility drawings, details, and schedules per standards.
Coordinate with engineers to translate markups and design intent into production drawings.
Maintain drawing sets, files, and references; perform routine audits for quality and consistency.
Support content creation (blocks, styles, details) and sheet set organization.
Assist project managers with documentation workflows and deliverable coordination.
Perform other duties as assigned.
