Job summary

MissionHires is seeking a PCB Design Engineer to design complex, high-density multilayer PCBs for rugged aerospace and embedded platforms. The role emphasizes Siemens Mentor Xpedition expertise, advanced high-speed digital routing, and a practical handle on signal/power integrity.

Your work will translate schematics into manufacturable layouts, support cross-functional teams, and drive DFM/DFT-aware design decisions across multiple product lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 2 years of PCB layout experience with enterprise tools.
• Strong hands-on experience with Mentor Xpedition/Layout and related constraint tools.
• Experience designing high-density, multilayer PCBs for aerospace/defense/embedded computing.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-density multilayer PCB layouts for embedded computing products.
• Translate schematics into manufacturable PCB designs.
• Collaborate with mechanical, manufacturing, and hardware teams throughout the lifecycle.
• Design and route high-speed interfaces (DDR4/DDR5, PCIe Gen4/Gen5, GDDR, Ethernet).
• Apply SI/PI, DFM/DFT principles to optimize electrical performance and cost.
• Develop HDI stack-ups with microvias and via-in-pad features.
• Support fabrication, assembly, testing, and production releases; create release docs.
