Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Education with emphasis in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years of successful teaching experience serving children birth through age five.
• Demonstrated experience providing instructional coaching, mentoring, or teacher leadership.
• Knowledge of Head Start Performance Standards and early childhood quality improvement systems.
• Ability to successfully pass all required background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional leadership, supervision, coaching, and performance management for classroom teaching staff.
• Lead reflective supervision meetings and provide coaching cycles with feedback and follow-up.
• Review lesson plans, student assessment data, and classroom documentation to ensure developmentally appropriate instruction.
• Coordinate services for children with disabilities and developmental needs with families and specialists.
• Ensure compliance with Head Start standards, licensing regulations, and program expectations.
