Job summary

Educare of Omaha, Inc. is seeking a Teacher Supervisor (Early Childhood Education) to lead instructional practices across classrooms and support teachers through coaching, observation, and professional development.

The role focuses on ensuring developmentally appropriate instruction, collaboration with families, and compliance with Head Start standards while coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to promote school readiness.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Education with emphasis in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years of successful teaching experience serving children birth through age five.
• Demonstrated experience providing instructional coaching, mentoring, or teacher leadership.
• Knowledge of Head Start Performance Standards and early childhood quality improvement systems.
• Ability to successfully pass all required background checks.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-quality instructional practices across assigned classrooms aligned with Educare of Omaha's model and school readiness goals.
• Conduct regular classroom observations and provide reflective coaching and feedback.
• Review lesson plans and child data to ensure intentional, developmentally appropriate instruction.
• Support families and coordinate referrals for children with developmental or social-emotional needs.
• Maintain compliance with Head Start standards, licensing regulations, and program policies.
