The Kettle Society is seeking a Mental Health Worker for the SEED program to support Members/participants in developing employment skills, including coaching, resource navigation, and placement coordination.

Reporting to the Member and Community Engagement Manager, the role involves developing individualized employment plans, collaborating with housing staff, and guiding staff in understanding participant support needs to achieve positive employment outcomes.

Qualificações

• Education requirements include Grade 12 and a Diploma in Community Social Services – mental health.
• Two years of relevant mental health experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have current valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
• Certifications: First Aid, WHMIS, Food Safe, MHFA, Violence Prevention, Naloxone Training.

Responsabilidades

• Develop individualized plans with Members/participants to address employment barriers.
• Provide ongoing behavioral support to develop workplace skills.
• Maintain regular contact with Members/participants and staff regarding placements.
• Explain policies and safety requirements in plain language.
