Job summary

CHADS Coalition for Mental Health is seeking a Social and Emotional Wellbeing (SEW) Program Coordinator for a full-time, 10-month role. Responsibilities include mentoring students, overseeing mentor programs, and supporting school partnerships.

The position runs August–May, with 40-hour weeks and some after-school duties; requires a degree in education or counseling and comfort with tech tools. Competitive benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Preferred master’s degree in education or counseling or similar degree.
• Minimum bachelor’s in education or counseling with 1–3 years’ experience.
• Experience promoting social and emotional learning.
• Experience in program development, oversight and growth.
• Management or supervision experience with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual mentoring to students (in person or virtual) 2 days a week.
• Assist in oversight of mentor program and Second Steps; marketing and development.
• Ensure fidelity and high quality through Continuous Quality Improvement.
• Support schools using mentoring services; meet with school personnel.
• Promote CHADS’ Family Support and SEW program to schools as needed.
• Maintain 20% billable hours.
• Perform tasks assigned by SEW Program Manager.
