Job Overview:
Are you passionate about mental healthcare and eager to join a team that shares your enthusiasm and commitment to compassionate care? Riverview Psychiatric Center seeks Mental Health Workers to support direct care, rehabilitation, and behavior modification of patients. Responsibilities include implementing treatment programs, providing patient care, and maintaining patient areas. Employees may serve as group leaders for assigned patients and work under general supervision.
This position specializes in community reintegration activities, including trips, appointments, and visits. It also involves assisting the Recreation Department as needed. A valid Maine Driver’s license and ability to operate a state vehicle are required. When not in the community, staff function as Mental Health Worker II’s on unit schedules, with every other weekend rotation. These are flexible positions.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent and two years of direct mental health care experience. Valid Maine driver’s license.
