Job description

We are offering a sign-on bonus of $3,000 for new hire Mental Health Worker/C.N.A, Night shift only. The first half is paid at 6 months and the second half will be paid at one year of employment.*

Job Summary:

Provides a role as a patient advocate through role modeling standards of performance and by communicating and meeting patients’ needs for service. Assists registered nurses in direct patient care, specifically patients’ activities of daily living. Ensures a safe and therapeutic environment on the unit through observation, monitoring, interaction, and assisting in groups.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in social sciences preferred; comparable behavioral health experience may substitute for the degree.
• Experience working with mentally ill and/or developmentally delayed clients.
• Candidate must have excellent written and communication skills.
• External candidates: must have C.N.A certification.
• Internal MHW candidates: must obtain or complete C.N.A. certification within 6 months of accepting the position.

Schedule:

20/40 Part-Time Nights - Every Other Weekend
