Mental Health Worker/CNA PT Nights Float Butler

Sign-on bonus of $3,000 available for new hires in the Mental Health Worker/CNA position, night shift only. The bonus is paid in two installments: half at 6 months and the remaining half at one year of employment.*

Job Summary:

Provides patient advocacy by modeling standards of performance and communicating with patients to meet their needs. Assists registered nurses with direct patient care, especially activities of daily living. Ensures a safe and therapeutic environment through observation, interaction, and group activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in social sciences preferred; comparable behavioral health experience may substitute.
• Experience with mentally ill and/or developmentally delayed clients.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• External candidates: must have C.N.A certification.
• Internal candidates: must obtain or complete C.N.A certification within 6 months of employment.

Schedule: 20/40 part-time nights, every other weekend.
