Merakey is seeking a Mental Health Worker for our residential locations in Montgomery County, Colmar, PA and Fort Washington, PA. This PRN role focuses on supporting individuals in community, family, or group home settings, providing personal care, guidance, and companionship as per the ISP.

The position emphasizes upholding health, safety, dignity, and contentment for each consumer, with a strong emphasis on person-centered plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 21 years old.
• 1 year experience in Behavioral Health preferred.
• Must have a valid and clean driver’s license.

Position Details

The Mental Health Worker:

• Interacts with and supports the individual in a variety of potential settings, including community, family or individual homes and generic community settings, as well as Adult Training Facilities (ATF).
• Provides personal care, instruction, guidance, mentoring, companionship, and support, often across a 24-hour period, according to the individual's Person-Centered Plan/Individual Support Plan (ISP).
• Provides a level of care that enhances the health, safety, dignity, and contentment of every consumer served.
