Job summary

Merakey seeks a Mental Health Worker in Philadelphia, PA to join our team on a part-time schedule. The role includes counseling individuals, implementing and monitoring treatment, and supporting clients' daily living skills.

Schedule is 12a–8a with a 3rd shift, weekends included. The position emphasizes safety, record-keeping, and group activities, with opportunities to lead or co-lead recreational and social programs in a compassionate, regulated environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean record.
• One year of mental health experience with adults preferred.

Our Mental Health Technicians provides counseling to individual clients, implements and monitors treatment of clients, and monitors individual and group social skills. Leads or co-leads recreational groups, assists, teaches, and monitors client's daily living activities. Accompanies and monitors clients on community trips, engages clients in social and leisure activities, and assures the health and safety of the clients, and maintains accurate and adequate records.
