Merakey is seeking Mental Health Technicians in the Germantown section of Philadelphia, PA, for 1st shift with weekends. The role includes counseling individuals, implementing treatment, and monitoring social skills and daily living activities.

You will lead or co-lead recreational groups, accompany clients on community trips, and ensure health, safety, and proper documentation. A valid driver's license and 1 year in mental health are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience working in Mental/Behavioral health.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling to individual clients and assist with treatment implementation and monitoring.
• Lead or co-lead recreational groups, assist and teach daily living activities, and monitor skills.

Position Details

Our Mental Health Technicians provides counseling to individual clients, implements and monitors treatment of clients, and monitors individual and group social skills. Leads or co-leads recreational groups, assists, teaches, and monitors client's daily living activities. Accompanies and monitors clients on community trips, engages clients in social and leisure activities, and assures the health and safety of the clients, and maintains accurate and adequate records.
