Job summary

Centurion Health seeks a full-time Mental Health Unit Manager at Telfair State Prison in Helena, Georgia. You will oversee planning, implementation, and monitoring of mental health services for inmates assigned to the unit.

Responsibilities include directing treatment staff, evaluating and planning treatments, delivering therapeutic services to inpatients and outpatients, and managing daily administrative operations.

Qualifications

• Masters level degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field from an accredited educational institution required
• Active Mental Health Professional license preferred; Registered Interns and/or new grads/eligible for registered intern license
• Must show current tuberculosis documentation and active CPR certification
• Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable

We are currently seeking a full-time Mental Health Unit Manager to join our team at Telfair State Prison located in Helena, Georgia.

The Mental Health Unit Manager (MHUM) is responsible for planning, implementing, directing, and monitoring services and programs for inmates/patients assigned to the Mental Health Unit at a state prison. This role is also responsible for directing treatment staff in evaluating, planning treatments, and delivery of therapeutic services to inpatient and outpatient inmates as well as managing daily administrative processes and operations of the Mental Health Unit.
