• Masters degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field from an accredited institution.
• Active Mental Health Professional license preferred; Registered Interns and/or new grads eligible for registered intern license.
• Must show tuberculosis documentation and active CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, direct, and monitor mental health services and programs for inmates in the Mental Health Unit.
• Direct treatment staff in evaluating and planning treatments and delivering therapeutic services to inpatients and outpatients.
• Manage daily administrative processes and operations of the Mental Health Unit.

Centurion is proud to be the provider of mental health services to the Georgia Department of Corrections.We are currently seeking a full-time Mental Health Unit Manager to join our team at Telfair State Prison located in Helena, Georgia.The Mental Health Unit Manager (MHUM) is responsible for planning, implementing, directing, and monitoring services and programs for inmates/patients assigned to the Mental Health Unit at a state prison.
