Redefine is a private practice providing behavioral health services to adults in the Washington D.C area.

We are seeking a mental health therapist (LGPC, LPC) to work full time (case load of 20 sessions/week).

For LGPC hires, free supervision will be provided in order to meet DC full licensure requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Counseling
• Valid clinical license in Washington D.C. (LGPC, LPC). We welcome new graduates who are applying for their LGPC license
• Experience with assessment and treatment of clinical symptoms
• Proficiency in writing clinical notes
• Knowledge of legal and ethical issues related to the counseling field
• Culturally sensitive, active listener, and empathic

Responsibilities:

• Provides mental health therapy sessions to individuals, couples, and/or families on a full-time basis, minimum caseload of 20 client sessions per week
• Implements and reviews treatment plans
• Effective in assessing for risk and has the knowledge of how to conduct a safety/self-management plan with clients
• Ensures all documentation is completed in a timely manner after each session
• Checks and responds to emails within 24 hours

Job Types Available: Full-time

Pay Range: Starting at $68K+ for full time therapists (based on a caseload of 20 sessions/week)

Expected hours: Minimum of 20 client sessions per week

Schedule:

• Choose your own hours
• Monday to Friday

Education:

• Master's Degree or greater

License/Certification:

• Clinical license in DC (LGPC, LPC)
• Master's/Graduate Level still applying for licenses are also considered
