Position Summary

We are currently seeking pre-licensed counselors in Washington, DC, and Georgia to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an associate-level clinician who is passionate about serving diverse populations and committed to practicing through an anti-oppressive, culturally-responsive, strengths-based lens.

Position: Mental Health Therapist

Location: Remote

Employment Type: Contract

Compensation: Paid per therapy session

Requirements

• Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling
• *Prelicensed counselor—LGPC registered with the DC BOARD OF PROFESSIONAL COUNSELING OR APC registered with the GEORGIA STATE BOARD OF PROFESSIONAL COUNSELORS, SOCIAL WORKERS, AND MARRIAGE & FAMILY THERAPISTS
• Demonstrated experience working with historically marginalized populations
• Strong alignment with social justice, intersectionality, and cultural humility
• Able to work independently while being part of a collaborative team
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with clients through virtual platforms
• Familiarity with current trends and research in mental health counseling and culturally responsive practices
