Job summary

ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions is seeking a Mental Health Therapist (LCSW or LMHC required) for full-time work in long-term care facilities. No weekends and a competitive salary of $65k–$75k reflects your licensure and experience.

Travel within the assigned area may be required, with comprehensive benefits and ongoing professional development. The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in social work or counseling and an LCSW/LMHC license, plus two years of therapy experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or professional counseling.
• Social Work/Professional Counseling License or equivalent: LCSW or LMHC.
• 2 years’ experience in therapy and counseling is preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Performing comprehensive diagnostic assessments.
• Providing patient visits as scheduled.
• Ensuring treatment plans are up to date for each client.
• Completing comprehensive and succinct progress notes.
• Communicating and following up as needed regarding the client's status.
• Working collaboratively with case management and psychiatric services.

• Performing comprehensive diagnostic assessments.
• Providing patient visits as scheduled.
• Ensuring treatment plans are up to date for each client.
• Completing comprehensive and succinct progress notes.
• Communicating and following up as needed regarding the client's status.
• Working collaboratively with those providing case management and/or psychiatric services.

Requirements for this position include:

• Master’s degree in social work or professional counseling
• Social Work/Professional Counseling License or equivalent: LCSW or LMHC
• 2 years’ experience in therapy and counseling is preferred.
• Valid driver's license, car insurance and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel throughout assigned service area.
