The role supports growth in consumers seeking mental health support. The intern will work with a team to deliver outpatient treatment, perform assessments, develop care plans and participate in supervision.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of various theoretical treatments and practice applications.
• Ability to work with a wide range of ages and life circumstances.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient behavioral health treatment under supervision.
• Develop treatment plans reflecting clients’ needs.
• Complete intakes, assessments and periodic mental status exams.
