HIAAH in Fort Lauderdale invites an intern mental health provider to support client assessments, treatment planning, and therapy across diverse ages and backgrounds. You will help develop personalized, evidence-based plans and deliver therapy sessions that promote wellbeing.

Collaborating with psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team, you’ll contribute to holistic care while gaining hands-on experience with an advanced EHR system, flexible scheduling, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate in Psychology, Counseling, MFT, Social Work, or related field.
• Licensed or license-eligible in state; LPC-Associate or LMHC-Intern.
• Experience with children, adolescents, and adults; diverse populations.
• 1–3 years of experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Client Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health status across various age groups and backgrounds.
• Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized therapy plans that foster client engagement, growth, and well-being.
• Therapy Sessions: Facilitate regular therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques to help clients overcome challenges and enhance their quality of life.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
