Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a human services related discipline is required.
• Temporary license to practice in Iowa (LMSW) or equivalent is required.
• Proof of Mandatory Reporter abuse training within 30 days of employment.

Responsabilités

• Provides therapy services in individual and group sessions.
• Performs crisis intervention and conflict resolution.
• Distinguishes emergency vs non-emergency tasks and acts accordingly.
• Offers immediate supportive counseling in crisis situations.
• Delivers continuum of mental health supports and referrals as needed.
• Completes initial assessments using validated tools such as ASAM criteria.
• Gathers bio-psychosocial history and collaborates with other professionals.
