UCS Healthcare in West Des Moines, IA is seeking a licensed Mental Health Counselor for a full-time, on-site position. You will perform integrated mental health counseling, including assessments, treatment planning, and individual/group therapy for clients with mental health and co-occurring disorders.

The role requires licensure in Iowa (LMHC/LCSW/LMFT or equivalent) and strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualificações

• Master’s degree in social work or related field.
• Current licensure as LMHC / LCSW / LMFT in Iowa; if temporary, must achieve independent licensing within 3 years.
• Integrated treatment for mental health and co-occurring disorders.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills for multidisciplinary teams.

Responsabilidades

• Assess clients for substance use and mental health needs and recommend treatment.
• Provide individual and group counseling using evidence-based techniques.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments and outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and outside agencies.
