Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or related field.
• Provisional license may be required by state regulations.
• Education towards professional licensing must be evident in background.
• Strong communication and ethical standards are essential.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and supervision.
• Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent time management and thorough documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families.
• Provide tailored outpatient individual and family therapy.
• Develop crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans.
• Participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning.
• Ensure timely completion of billing, documentation, and insurance forms.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, dietitians, admin staff, and fellow therapists.
