Job summary

Northeast Health Services in Massachusetts seeks a licensed mental health professional to join our outpatient team to conduct culturally sensitive assessments and provide individualized therapy for diverse clients, fostering healing and resilience.

You will develop crisis and wellness plans, participate in case discussions and discharge planning, and ensure timely documentation, billing, and insurance authorizations while collaborating with psychiatrists, nurses, and other clinicians for

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a related field.
• Provisional license per state regulation, if required.
• Educational background that leads to professional licensing.
• Passionate about mental health and committed to providing high-quality care.
• Dedicated to ongoing professional development in mental health including supervision and continuing education.
• Eager to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance client care.
• Strong commitment to ethical practice and maintaining confidentiality.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients and families.
• Ability to manage time effectively and complete documentation and administrative tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct culturally sensitive assessments for new clients and families.
• Provide outpatient individual and family therapy tailored to client needs.
• Develop crisis, safety, relapse, and wellness plans.
• Participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning.
• Ensure timely billing, documentation, and insurance authorization forms.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, and staff for holistic care.
