Job summary

Cornerstone Counseling Center of Chicago is seeking licensed therapists to provide direct counseling services within a diverse, culturally aware team. The roles include both part-time and full-time options, with evening shifts to accommodate clients’ schedules and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Therapists should hold a Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, or social work, with family therapy specialization preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling, clinical psychology, or social work; family therapy specialization preferred.
• Prior clinical experience preferred; new graduates.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, time management, and teamwork are needed.

Responsibilities

• Part-time status: maintain a minimum of 10 direct service hours each week with two evening shifts per week.

• Maintain client records, with notes written accurately and within compliance standards.

Cornerstone Counseling Center of Chicago’s professional staff is made up of a culturally and ethnically diverse group of master’s- and doctoral-level therapists who are committed to offering high-quality counseling services. While we each operate from a solid Christian perspective, we are also respectful and sensitive to clients’ varying beliefs and worldviews. All therapists have experience and expertise in working with a wide variety of clinical settings, client concerns, and spiritual, cultural, ethnic, and diversity issues.
