Suncoast Behavioral Health Center offers unique treatment programs across inpatient, partial, and intensive outpatient settings for children and adolescents.

Our goal is to promote cognitive, social, physical, and emotional development to help our patients succeed in a highly specialized field of psychiatry.

The hospital is seeking a Mental Health Tech/CNA: Friday - Monday 3P - 11:30P (32hrs). This role involves providing direct care to adolescent patients with psychiatric and substance abuse disorders, ensuring their safety and wellbeing. MHTs are primarily responsible for patient safety on the unit.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient monitoring and observation with 15-minute checks
• Assist nursing staff on the unit
• Ensure the safety and well-being of patients
• Apply knowledge of risk and safety precautions in patient care
• Communicate effectively with patients, co-workers, and physicians
• React calmly and effectively in emergency situations
