**Job Summary:**

Performs duties of patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse to help provide the psychological, emotional, and physical care and support required by each patient.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  1. Provides direct patient care under supervision of a Registered Nurse.
  2. Carries out procedures under supervision of Registered Nurse including special precautions, Handle with Care skills, and seclusion and restraint correctly and safely.
  3. Documents all pertinent clinical information on a daily basis, including all unusual incidents.
  4. Completes documentation for Seclusion/Restraint and Special Precautions accurately.
  5. The responsibilities listed are a general overview of the position and additional duties may be assigned.

**Technical Capabilities:**

  1. Patient Documentation (Fundamental Awareness): Has limited experience, training, direct exposure, or past experience working with patient documentation.
  2. Patient Diagnosis (Fundamental Awareness): Has limited experience, training, direct exposure, or past experience working with patient diagnosis.
  3. Patient Assessment (Fundamental Awareness): Has limited experience, training, direct exposure, or past experience working with patient assessments.
  4. Environment of Care (Fundamental Awareness): Has limited experience or training working with set up and maintenance of patient exam rooms, supplies, and equipment.
