Physical Therapy Technician-PRN-Results Physiotherapy-AST

Results Physiotherapy-AST, a brand partner of Upstream Rehabilitation, is seeking a Physical Therapy Technician to join our team in Nashville, TN.

Role of a Technician in a Physical Therapy Clinic
  • The Technician is an unlicensed associate working under the supervision of a licensed Physical or Occupational Therapist.
  • The technician operates in accordance with state Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy Practice Acts and company policies.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attentiveness are essential to contribute to high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
  • Preparing equipment and treatment areas for patient use.
  • Assisting and observing patients during prescribed therapy exercises and documenting responses.
  • Performing basic treatments such as applying ice packs and heat pads as instructed.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and therapy areas, including changing and laundering linens.
  • Handling administrative tasks like patient intake, answering calls, and scheduling appointments.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
Experience and Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Proficiency with computers and ability to learn new software.
