Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Worker to join our inpatient and outpatient teams in Chicago. Under supervision, you will assist licensed staff, document patient care, support daily living activities, and help maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for adults and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities include participating in treatment planning, communicating pertinent information to RNs, and supporting the interdisciplinary care team.

Qualificações

• Must have current and valid license as a Certified Nursing Assistant issued by the State; if not a CNA, at least 1 year MHW hospital experience.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire and maintained.
• One year of mental health experience preferred.
• Familiarity with medical and psychological terminology preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist licensed nursing staff in patient care and activities of daily living; document care and maintain safety.
• Support unit functions, communicate pertinent patient information to supervising RN; maintain a safe/clean environment.
• For outpatient, carry out daily living programs and support individual treatment plans for psychiatric patients.
