Job summary

The Oklahoma County Crisis Intervention Center (OCCIC) seeks Mental Health Technicians to join a dedicated treatment team in a high-risk state facility in the metro area. This full-time role involves direct care, de-escalation, and activity coordination for behavioral health patients in inpatient/outpatient settings.

Three MHT levels are offered with annual salaries of $29,328.20+, $31,799.00+, and $34,517.00+, with shift differentials and comprehensive benefits. Must be 18+.

Qualifications

• No formal degree is required for MHT I.
• One year of behavioral health patient care experience for MHT II.
• Two years of behavioral health patient care experience for MHT III.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to behavioral health patients in inpatient/outpatient/residential settings.
• Assist in monitoring recovery progress toward treatment goals.
• Participate in recovery, wellness, and social skills activities and de-escalation when needed.
