Monte Nido Rosewood in Wickenburg, Arizona is seeking a PRN Behavioral Health Technician to assist in leading the nursing team within a comprehensive eating disorder treatment program.

Responsibilities include patient care, meal monitoring, and supporting therapy groups. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid/CPI certifications, and valid AZ fingerprint clearance; driver’s license and health-professional experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Have the ability to obtain CPR, First Aid, and CPI certifications
• Must possess a current AZ DPS fingerprint card within specified timeframe
• Must be 21 years of age or older in accordance with Dept. of Health Services R9-20-204.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record as driving is a requirement of the job.
• Experience in behavioral and/or mental health preferred.
• Eating Disorder knowledge, a plus.

• Responsible for providing quality patient care, which includes demonstration of skills in basic monitoring of patient activities and behaviors.
• Provide meal monitoring, support and redirection of patients with eating disorders.
• Support topic groups with therapy activities including art activities, recreational activities, meditation, and guided imagery.
