Monte Nido Rosewood Scottsdale is seeking a per diem Behavioral Health Technician to join our Scottsdale program. This PRN position supports patient care, monitors activities, assists with meals, and participates in therapy-related activities under the supervision of licensed clinicians.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, ability to obtain CPR, First Aid and CPI certifications, a valid AZ DPS fingerprint card, being 21 or older, and a valid driver’s license with a safe driving

Schedule

PRN, day and evenings (6a-6p, 6a-2:30p and 2p-10:30p shifts available)

Responsibilities Include

• Responsible for providing quality patient care, which includes demonstration of skills in basic monitoring of patient activities and behaviors.
• Provide meal monitoring, support and redirection of patients with eating disorders.
• Support topic groups with therapy activities including art activities, recreational activities, meditation, and guided imagery.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Have the ability to obtain CPR, First Aid, and CPI certifications
• Must possess a current AZ DPS fingerprint card within specified timeframe
• Must be21 yearsof age or older in accordance with Dept. of Health Services R9-20-204.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record as driving is a requirement of the job.
• Experience in behavioral and/or mental health preferred.
• Eating Disorder knowledge, a plus.
