Job summary

Monte Nido Rosewood is seeking a per diem (PRN) Behavioral Health Technician in Scottsdale to join our caring, multidisciplinary team. The role emphasizes patient monitoring, meal support, and facilitating group therapy activities in a treatment setting for eating disorders.

The position requires a High School diploma or GED, ability to obtain CPR/First Aid/CPI certifications, AZ DPS fingerprint clearance, and a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to obtain CPR, First Aid, and CPI certifications.
• Must possess a current AZ DPS fingerprint card within the specified timeframe.
• Must be 21 years of age or older in accordance with Dept. of Health Services R9-20-204.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record as driving is a requirement of the job.
• Experience in behavioral and/or mental health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care, including monitoring of patient activities and behaviors.
• Provide meal monitoring, support and redirection of patients with eating disorders.
• Support topic groups with therapy activities including art activities, recreational activities, meditation, and guided imagery.

We are seeking a per diem (PRN) Behavioral Health Technician

Schedule

Schedule: PRN, day and evenings (6a-6p, 6a-2:30p and 2p-10:30p shifts available)

• Responsible for providing quality patient care, which includes demonstration of skills in basic monitoring of patient activities and behaviors.
• Provide meal monitoring, support and redirection of patients with eating disorders.
• Support topic groups with therapy activities including art activities, recreational activities, meditation, and guided imagery.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Have the ability to obtain CPR, First Aid, and CPI certifications
• Must possess a current AZ DPS fingerprint card within specified timeframe
