Job summary

Michiana Behavioral Health in Plymouth, Indiana, is seeking a Mental Health Technician for the day shift (6:00 am – 2:30 pm). Join a dedicated treatment team providing continuous patient care, supervision and role modeling to support patient recovery and daily functioning.

Responsibilities include orienting patients, carrying out treatment activities under nurse supervision, maintaining therapeutic boundaries, observing patients, assisting with daily living, and following universal precautions

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent. College degree a plus.
• Willing to train the right individual that has a passion for children, adolescents, and adults with mental health and addiction disorders.
• Experience working with children and adolescents a plus.
• Hours: 40 hours/week. Day shift (6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.) Must be able to work rotating weekends.
• May be required to work overtime and flexible hours.
