Job summary

Wood County Norwood Health Center seeks a Mental Health Technician to support daily care for residents with mental health needs. You will assist with ADLs, monitor conditions, and help implement treatment plans under the supervision of clinicians.

A CNA and CPR certification are required, with a focus on compassionate, team-based care. You will work in a setting that values dignity, safety, and collaborative improvement, providing 1:1 interaction and crisis de-escalation as part of comprehensive

Qualifications

• High school diploma required and minimum age 18.
• Must possess Wisconsin CNA certification and maintain it.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess vital signs and report findings to the nurse promptly.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and encourage independence.
• Maintain safe, clean, and dignified environment for residents.
• Document care plans and participate in treatment planning with the team.
• Provide therapeutic interaction and 1:1 patient support as needed.
• Follow safety policies and respond to incidents per policy.
