Change lives and come join a highly skilled multi-discipline team of professionals providing care to high-risk individuals in a state facility located in the heart of the metro area. The Oklahoma County Crisis Intervention Center (OCCIC) and the Oklahoma Crisis Recovery Unit (OCRU) are looking for friendly, hardworking Mental Health Technicians to join their team!

This position works as part of the treatment team by developing and maintaining supportive relationships with consumers to address strengths, goals, and barriers to recovery. Responsibilities include providing direct care to consumers in inpatient, outpatient, or residential settings, monitoring recovery progress, de-escalation activities, participating in recovery, wellness, and social skills groups, and developing/managing other group activities.

Job Type/Salary

• Full-time
• Starting salary is $29,328.20 plus shift differentials and benefit allowance!
• Potential to earn extra $$:
• Extra $.43/hour for working evenings and nights
• Extra $.75/hour for working weekends
• Extra $1/hour for working on an inpatient or crisis unit
• FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• No experience or education required.

Special Requirements

• Upon a conditional offer, applicants must submit to a physical examination and meet physical requirements, including occasionally lifting/carrying 50 pounds and pushing/pulling up to 25 pounds.
