Job Summary and Qualifications

Tri-Cities seeks an experienced Mental Health Technician to support our healthcare team. Under RN supervision, you will assist in patient care within the Behavioral Health Department, helping with assessments, documenting behavioral and clinical data, and providing behavioral health interventions aligned with recovery and Trauma-Informed Care principles.

You will perform vital signs, assist with activities of daily living, and help with treatments or procedures within your competency. Ensuring safety through routine checks is essential. You will participate in quality management and facilitate patient community, education, or activity groups, documenting participation.

Qualifications:

• American Heart Association or Red Cross BLS certification required.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training within 60 days of hire.
• Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or coursework in healthcare, mental health, or related fields preferred.
• Experience in acute behavioral health settings preferred.
