Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare in Evansville, IN is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Mental Health Technician for the 2nd shift. You will work in our supervised group living/residential dual diagnosis programs, providing supervision, support, and skill-building to help clients achieve independence.

Starting pay is $16 per hour. The role emphasizes a person-centered approach, with an orientation program to be completed within six months of hire.

Qualifications

Job Details: Job Location: Michigan Home - Evansville, IN 47710, Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Mental Health Technician to join our 2nd Shift team. In this role, you will work within our Supervised Group living and/or residential dual diagnosis programs for adults, providing supervision, support, and skill-building assistance to help clients achieve their highest level of independence.

WHAT IS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR?

Mental Health Technicians work in a residential setting with individuals who have severe and persistent mental illness and/or substance use disorder to assist in developing recovery and independent living skills.

We utilize a person centered approach to help residents reach their recovery goals.

Mental Health Technicians are not responsible for hands-on care.

We offer an individualized orientation program to help you learn how to effectively work with our residents that must be completed within six months of hire.

Qualifications: WHAT'S REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION?

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with individuals having psychiatric conditions desirable.
• Work schedule: 40 hours per week
• Schedule 2nd Shift: 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm
• Demonstrated proficiency with interpersonal and writing skills.
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Must have valid driver's license and qualify for Company's vehicle liability insurance.
